SAINT FRANCIS SCHOOL 2011-12 ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN

The Saint Francis School 2011-12 Annual Giving Campaign will kick off July 1, 2011. We appreciate our families and friends of Saint Francis who have contributed to our annual fund in the past and hope you will choose to support Saint Francis School again this year.

We welcome you to consider a contribution to one of the following levels of giving:   Giving Form

ENDOWMENT - Donations to the Endowment fund help to guarantee the long-range security of Saint Francis School.

BUILDING - Donations are used to defray the cost of capital improvements and future construction.

NAMED SCHOLARSHIP - Donations are used to supplement awards given at graduation or awards program.

ATHLETIC - Donations are used to improve athletic facilities in general or can be designated by the donor for a particular sport.

  

GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP - Donations are used to provide financial assistance for deserving students. You may choose the General Scholarship Fund or any of the following Named Scholarships.  These scholarships and awards are given to students at both graduation and awards ceremonies:

        Carol Lynn Ambrosio Spirit Award                   Middle School
        Peter M. Carriuolo Memorial Award                 High School
        Andrew L. Buccellato Perseverance Award    High School
        Roberts Brothers School Scholarship             High School
        Edward Starr Moore History Award                  High School
        Taranto Family Aspiration Award                     High School

 

GEORGIA PRIVATE SCHOOL TAX CREDIT -  Under this law, you can redirect a portion of your Georgia income taxes to provide scholarship assistance to incoming Saint Francis students.  You will receive a tax credit at the state level (and a federal income tax deduction), against your Georgia income tax liability for amount donated. 

 

            ►         Married couples filing a joint return, $2,500  
                        maximum tax credit – eligible contribution.

            ►         Individual, $1,000 eligible contribution.

            ►         C-Corp, 75% of state tax liability.

Securities

Gifts of stocks and bonds may be made in several ways.  The most common practice is
