Middle School - Parent Communication

Parent Communication
Communication with parents is a vital part of the St. Francis philosophy.  Student success is dependent upon cooperation between parents, teachers, and the student.  Therefore St Francis utilizes an assignment book system which, in addition to helping the students stay organized, allows for daily communication between the teacher and parent.  Progress reports are sent to parents weekly along with work samples in the subject area.  Report cards are sent to parents four times per year, and scheduled conferences are held three times per year.

Parents are encouraged to call the Middle school secretary whenever questions arise.  Administrators are available by phone or to meet with parents as needed.  Teachers always return parent phone calls during their next available planning time.
