Philosophy
The preschool program at Saint Francis Schools encourages each child's natural curiosity and desire to learn about his/her world in an academic environment that is designed to be both supportive and challenging. A balanced program rich in multi-sensory experiences provides a strong foundation for each child's successful development in the academic areas of Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Time dedicated to free play indoors and outdoors provides a healthy balance as specialty teachers work with the children in the areas of art, music, drama, creative movement, computers, and library/ storytime. A partnership is encouraged between school and home to help each child to grow toward his/her potential.

Children discover the joy that is experienced in learning and feel pride in their successes throughout each school day. Children grow cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially. Through this process, children discover how very special they are and begin a lifelong love of learning.
