road as the Knights had to defeat 25 and 1 Excel Christian on Friday in
the semifinals. The score was 59 to 45 behind 15 points and 11

In the championship game, the Knights defeated defending Single A state

toughness to win this game. Lance Pecot, Chris Steele, Josh Coleman
and Nathan Waller along with Malik Beasley’s 23 points, Jordan Jones’
10 points and 12 rebounds, Kobi Simmons’ 11 points, Kaiser Gates’ 9
points and 11 rebounds and McKinley Brown’s 9 points provided the valuable skills and persistance needed to win.
The Knights record on the season is now 21 and 8. The 21 wins are also the most for the boys program since 2005. Saint Francis Knights are now ranked number 3 by the AJC and will now be a top seed in the State tournament and host the first round of the state tournament here at Saint Francis Friday or Saturday.
