High School Raises $1,475 for Defeat Childhood Cancer, Rally Foundation

Thanks to our students, faculty and fans, the Saint Francis Community raised $1,475.00 for the Rally Foundation, https://rallyfoundation.org/ .  The stands were packed with GOLD as Saint Francis raised awareness of the need to fund research to DEFEAT CHILDHOOD CANCER during the Varsity football game against Lakeview Academy on Friday, September 5, 2014.

The Knights extended their home winning streak to eight games and overall winning streak to nine games with a 47-10 win over Lakeview Academy on Friday. The Knights offense posted 452 total yards of offense with touchdowns by five different people. The touchdowns were scored by Nathan Waller (2) and Avery Showell, Matthew Davis, PJ Coyne, and Jordan Ferguson all scoring one touchdown a piece. Avery Showell lead the rushing attack with 123 yards on four carries. The Knights defense held Lakeview to 168 yards with Lake McClure leading the way with 6.5 total tackles. The Knights are off this week but play Mt. Zion on September 19  at home. This will be the team’s first official region game in program history. Kick-off is slated for 7:30 pm and is Roswell campus night.
