Knights Unite for Childhood Cancer

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The objective of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is to put a spotlight on the types of cancer that largely affect children, survivorship issues, and importantly to help raise funds for research and family support.

With Gold as the national color for childhood cancer, we are showing our support that day by having the football players and cheerleaders wear special edition Gold “Knights Unite For Childhood Cancer” shirts for our Home football game this
Thursday, September 11, 2014.

PLEASE NOTE: If you or your child would like to donate to this cause, Gold Awareness Ribbon Camo bracelets will be available for purchase for $5.00 during Middle School Lunch periods Wednesday and Thursday.

Game Day Bonus:
There will also be a Donation Table set up at the gate where, for a donation of $10.00 or more, you will receive admission to the game, plus a commemorative cup (free drink from Concession Stand included), a bracelet and a sticker. As an added incentive, all fans who make a donation will be entered into a drawing to win a commemorative Gold DriFit shirt.

Proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to CURE Childhood Cancer, a local organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research and through support of patients and their families.
