Middle School Basketball Season Recap
Our Saint Francis Middle School Lady Knights of the Hardwood played in the championship game vs. Galloway last week and were victorious with a final score of 25-19. Your 2014-2015 Lady Knights A team are the first middle school girls basketball MAAC CHAMPIONS (Metro Atlanta Athletic Conference).
Our girl’s team had some key defensive stops and clutch offensive players down the stretch that allowed them to get the WIN. The team would like to thank all the students and teachers who came out to cheer them on and show support. Coach Tomlinson, Coach Page and Coach McGuire would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of the players for never giving up, never giving in and for never giving out! Please congratulate our 2015 MAAC Champions Cate Hardin, Trammell Odom, Cate Smith, Caitlyn Surdykowski, Taryn Kaufman, Rachel Marsh, Izzy Wathan, Sasha Ratliff, Alex Rudder, Grace Rothberg, Cassidy Howell and Team Captains Emma Motter and Sarah Recht.
The Saint Francis 8th grade boy’s basketball team made the North Atlanta Metro League playoffs for the 14th consecutive year this past month.
