“A quartet of Knights’ running backs proved too much for Providence (0-1), which is playing its second year of varsity football. The leader was Avery Showell, who rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns, staking St. Francis to a 24-7 halftime lead. Jordan Ferguson rushed for another 147 yards, Zach Wanamaker tacked on 66 more, while quarterback Matt Davis ran for 64. Ferguson and Wanamaker each had second half TDs.”
