Senior, Ryan Bivings, State Finalist for All States Art Competition
Congratulations to Saint Francis Senior, Ryan Bivings. his piece has become a state finalist in the All States Art Competition. As a State Finalist, the work automatically moves on to the “State Winner” level judging. Each State Finalist will receive a “Certificate of Achievement” and is invited to participate in the All State Art Symposium Exhibition in the Illges Gallery at Columbus State University Department of Art where they will be be judged for final awards. Our region is all public and private schools in Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties. His work advances to the state level competition, state winners have not been announced.
The All-State Art Symposium Mission:
The annual All-State Art Symposium is dedicated to promoting and recognizing the creative talents of high school students from Georgia’s school districts. The symposium’s workshops, juried exhibition and other events provide high school students with cultural opportunities, develop advanced studio skills, and cultivate aesthetic appreciation while recognizing excellence in high school art education. Through the dynamic symposium, students, parents and teachers celebrate creativity and the symbiotic relationship of art and society.
