Chase Ellis, 8th Gr. Hits 1,000 Points in Middle School Basketball Career

Chase Ellis, 8th Gr. and his mother, Alice Ellis 1,000 Basketball Points for Middle School Career

Saturday, January 30th marked the end of an outstanding and unprecedented  basketball career for Chase Ellis at Saint Francis Middle School.  Chase has achieved so much as a Saint Francis Middle School basketball player. As a sixth grader, Chase led his team to an undefeated season and a NAML Championship for the 7th grade team.  As a seventh grader, Chase led the 8th grade team to the NAML Championships, falling short to a talented Mt. Bethel team. This season, Chase wowed crowds with impressive dunks and unselfish play. He eclipsed the 1,000 point mark against Perimeter on January 12, 2016. He once again led the 8th grade team to the NAML Championships. Although they fell short, it was another impressive run for Ellis and the 8th grade team.

Chase’s basketball abilities are equally matched by his achievements in the classroom. As an honor roll student, Chase has shown exemplary citizenship, leadership and integrity. Coaches, teachers and administrators are amazed at Chase’s compassion for others and willingness to do whatever is asked of him.

Chase will be sorely missed at Saint Francis Middle School. We all look forward to seeing what Chase does on and off the court at our High school.
