Each year the Georgia Art Education Association holds their most competitive All States Art Competition. This year there were 1200 entries from 9 districts across the state. To get to the state level, the pieces must win at the District level. Our school’s district includes all schools in Cobb, Gwinnett, Dekalb and Fulton counties, both public and private.

Three of our students under the guidance of their art teachers, Mrs. Barb Swanner and Mrs. Amber DeSantis, had the distinction of being named State Winners. Congratulations to Juniors Jack Kinney and Sarah Gibeaut, and Senior Catherine Croker. Their pieces will be put on exhibit in the gallery at Columbus State University and will go on to compete for the top honors which will be presented at the All States Art Symposium on February 24th which they are each invited to attend.
