Varsity Football Kicks Off Season with a “W” and Volunteers at the Atlanta Community Food Bank

Saint Francis Varsity Football and Cheerleaders pack over 10,000 lbs. of much needed food, toiletries, and baby products at Atlanta Community Foodbank.

Last Friday Saint Francis Varsity Football had a very busy weekend.  Not only did the Knights put up a 21-17 win in a scrimmage against Mt. Vernon exhibiting great teamwork and hard work, they also worked together as a team at the Atlanta Community Food Bank on Sunday, August 20th. Along with a few of our Saint Francis cheerleaders, this team packed over 10,000 pounds of much needed food, toiletries, baby products and miscellaneous items to families who are in need.

Head Coach, Tim Mathis, was also there to cheer his team on! The community service event was led by Tina Harper and Hammond Reynolds (team parents). GO KNIGHTS!
