Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2018

The nonprofit Alliance for Young Artists & Writers presents the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.(PRNewsFoto/Scholastic Inc.) (PRNewsfoto/Alliance for Young Artists)

Each year students in our high school art department compete in the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.

Their work is first judged at the regional level and exceptional work wins gold or silver keys and honorable mentions. Several of our students won awards this year. Their work was recognized by a panel of creative professionals as some of the most outstanding works submitted among their peers.

All students honored with Gold and Silver Key awards are invited to have their work featured in an exhibition at SCAD’s Poetter Hall in Savannah from Feb. 26-March 10. The exhibition will conclude with an awards reception on Saturday, March 10, 2-4 p.m., at Poetter Hall. Gold Key artwork will be on display in its original form and Silver Key work will be on view digitally at the exhibition.
