The Saint Francis Middle School remains one of the most unique programs in private education not only just here in Georgia, but also throughout the entire nation.
Our philosophy is based on placing students in a learning environment that is challenging but not frustrating. With over 300 students and 50 faculty members, the Middle School boasts one of the smallest teacher-to-student ratios in the metro Atlanta area. Homogeneous grouping in all core subjects permits us to maximize each child’s learning potential in an academically stimulating setting.
The entire Middle School faculty recognizes that students learn in different ways, and we focus our academic presentation toward the learning strengths of each individual student. Strong emphasis on structure, organization and efficient use of time allow students to gain the self-confidence necessary to become successful and independent life-long learners.
The entire Middle School participates in a homework study hall at the end of the school day. This allows students to begin their homework and receive valuable assistance from their teachers. Homework is viewed as an essential tool to reinforce and review skills presented during that day’s lesson. The objective of this unique component of our academic program focuses on the quality rather than the quantity of the work produced.
Saint Francis Middle School supports the development of the whole student. Core educational offerings are supplemented with art, computer, physical education, choral and band classes. The School also offers a comprehensive interscholastic athletic program with 23 different teams competing in 15 different sports.
The best way to understand all that we can do for your child is to visit and tour our campus. I encourage you to call today, (770) 641-8257 ext. 51, and set up an appointment with our Admissions Director.
